I will never be able to understand why people love wearing black so much. While I can definitely appreciate an all black outfit and opt for this option myself at times, I find it way more interesting to wear white (if you hadn't noticed yet!) or bright fun colors! So of course when I spotted this chiffon off the shoulders baby doll dress at Raul Penaranda's Spring/Summer 2017 Fashion Show I knew I had to have it! Pair it with sparkly Givenchy heels and find an amazing colorful mural and you've got yourself a happy blogger!
For my first post from New York I wanted to give you guys a perfect overview of what my days looks like here. The Big Apple is unlike any other city I've ever been to and that's exactly why I love it so much. There's always something to do, see and discover. I usually spend my weekends checking out new cute restaurants or dessert places, shopping at my favorite stores and hanging out and pic-nicking at my favorite parks.
For my outfits I like to keep it practical (no heels for busy city days that's for sure!) but still cute and super girly. I love the off the shoulders trend and I am a sucker for cute summer dresses and two piece outfits because they make it so easy to get ready in the morning and you always look so put together. I love shopping online fir different, unique pieces and TOBI is definitely one of my favorite websites do to that.
I especially love shopping around in Soho where all the best stores are and stopping by a few trusted thrift stores like Buffalo Exchange. If you follow me on my Instastory you might have noticed already ;)
I also especially love strolling in Central Park and Washington Square park while snacking on macarons or yummy chocolate chip cookies from Levain bakery. Cherry blossoms season made the city look so pretty!

A foggy fall morning in the city and a perfectly empty Brooklyn bridge: nothing better to shoot this beautiful Raul Penaranda outfit. The skirt is actually a gorgeous column beaded gown with a sexy slit on the side and very plunging neckline, but layer it with this floral crop top and it becomes perfectly day-appropriate.
A stunning little white dress, sparkly heels and New York City at the end of a busy day.
It doesn't get any more magical than this.
Hope you'll all enjoy the second look I shot in collaboration with Raul Penaranda and the amazing Gabriel! We chose the Lincoln Center because of its gorgeous architecture and stunning white marble buildings. Little did we know that "professional photoshoots" are not allowed so after the security guard warned us the once we had to be super sneaky and shoot all of these pictures as fast as possible! Oh jeez, the things bloggers do for a good picture.. Haha Hope you'll appreciate these even more now that you know the little anecdote that goes with them. ;)
Dress: Raul Penaranda - Shoes: Givenchy - Earrings: Zara
These heels are sparkly perfection!
Every year attending fashion week becomes more and more fun! I am so thankful to be able to travel to this amazing city and attend all these fun shows and events and being able to share all of this with you guys makes it all a hundred times better!
My first day in New York turned out to be pretty full: a nail and makeup appointment in the morning at Caravan styling studio to get me ready for the Control Sector fashion show in the afternoon and the Lulu's Style Studio Party at night. I also had the time to have a yummy lunch with my babe Yana and of course take tons of #foodporn pics.
For my first NYFW day I chose a simple yet elegant and trendy look: all black and white with lace and Chanel.
Romper: Shein - Shoes: Valentino - Bracelet: Hermès Collier de chien
Thank you Caravan for making me pretty and spoiling me with a bag full of fun goodies!
Lunch at The Growler was INSANE!
After lunch I went straight to the Style Fashion Week fashion show where I attended the Control Sector fashion show (as I'm sure you've seen on my InstaStory!).
Lastly, I ended this first day on the best way possible: attending the Lulu's Style Studio influencers party. Between good music, fashion sketches, fun goodies, an open bar and cool giveaways I had such an amazing night and met some fantastic fellow bloggers!
This very pink post concludes my New York adventures. On this last day in the city my babe Yana and I met up with the lovely Katya from Flora Theory and we had an amazing lunch at Bluestone Lane in the West Village. Then we proceeded to snap some pictures with this gorgeous flower box by Flora Theory! The weather was absolutely perfect but the company was even better! So sad to be leaving this amazing city once again!
I've walked by this building hundreds of times and took pictures of it almost every time. I always thought it was a beautiful church since it even has a beautifully taken care of garden with gorgeous blooms and many very picturesque tables and benches and of course a fountain. That was until I actually stopped by and inquired. You'll never guess what this is: it's one of the numerous branches of the New York Public Library! Isn't this amazing? It made me appreciate this stunning building even more. No matter how well I think I know you, New York, you'll never stop surprising me!

Every time I'm in the city I cannot help but testing as many restaurants as I possibly can. Today between a bloggers meeting in Little Italy and a showroom appointment in Times Square I have been running around Manhattan like a crazy person! Comfort was key when deciding what to wear: I opted for this laid back but still somewhat elegant romper and comfy espadrilles. Add a lace bralette and a super trendy choker and you've got yourself an insanely stylish yet extremely practical everyday outfit.

I met up with my babe Yana and a fellow blogger Dikla for lunch at Seamore's. We tried the fried fish tacos and the vegan tacos (with broccoli and a tofu sauce) and an order of Poke (raw fish, peanuts and avocado) to share. I had been wanting to try out this restaurant for the longest time. Its adorable outdoor seating area and incredible online reviews giving always made me want to go ahead and try it and I'm so happy I finally did! Everything was really good and now I want to come back and try some more things from their menu.
After our tacos we walked around little italy and soho and finally stopped by Gorgetown Cupcakes for dessert. We got their Black and White cupcakes which are chocolate cupcakes with vanilla frosting. To be honest, these are my ultimate guilty pleasure! So incredibly soft and flavorful!
It's with a full stomach that I then headed uptown to the Theater District to go visit the Modern Vice showroom.
Modern Vice is a really cool handcrafted footwear and accessory brand that imports all of the leather and hardware directly from Italy and produces shoes in house in New York City. I had the pleasure to tour their showroom and production space (I took you guys along with me on Snapchat by the way! If you don't follow me yet go ahead, my username is "sarahgallazzi") and even got to choose a couple of pairs of super cool boots! They will be handmade and will probably be ready in a couple of weeks: I am so excited to receive them and show them to you!
Shoes galore at Modern Vice.
My first day in New York turned out to be one of the best days ever! I met up with my favorite babe Yana (from @MissYanaCherie) and started our day in Soho. As usual we went to Georgetown cupcakes for a small morning treat (did you know that they give away free 100 cupcakes every day?? Just go there between 10am and noon and ask for one! You're welcome ;) ). After the delicious chocolate cupcake with vanilla frosting on top we decided to just stroll around soho and ended up in front of Saint Laurent. The store front was so cute that I decided to take outfit pics in front of it!
Jacket: Shein - Jeans: J. Crew - Espadrilles & Brooch: Chanel - Bag: Chloé
These two bangles from The Peach Box are my absolute favorite pieces of jewelry right now! I cannot express to you how gorgeous and chic they are! They go beautifully with everything and are very high quality! As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words so just look for yourself:
Bracelets: The Peach Box
And then this happened.. I revealed what's inside on my Snapchat (my Snapchat is sarahgallazzi by the way)!
The Fendi store in Soho is also the cutest ever!
From Soho we then walked to the West Village to get to Olio e Più, one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITES restaurants in the city and strolled through Washington Square Park. Such a beautiful spring day.
Isn't this restaurant so adorable? I love their terrace and Yana and I were there for almost 3 hours eating the yummiest food and laughing and enjoying the sun.
We ordered the Antipasto misto (mix of charcuterie and cheese) and a side of focaccia (delicious Italian bread) as a starter and then I got the Sacchettoni cacio e pepe with a side of asparagus and Yana got the strip steak with pesto sauce and a side of sautée broccolis. Everything was beyond delicious! The asparagus was so flavorful and the antipasto misto brought back so many memories from my years in Italy! It was lovely!
Of course even after all that food, there's always room for dessert! So we ordered chocolate lava cakes and cappuccinos. If you saw my snaps of the cake you will know how good this was! :P
How stylish is that girl walking by on my right? #YASQUEEN
After all that food we just continued to walk and shop around and hit some of our most favorite stores (that I already told you all about in this post).
My final day in the city was all about friends and good times! It started with the most delicious brunch ever at Ladurée in Soho with my girls Yana and Audrey. There I got my ultimate favorite treat: french toasts with raspberry coulis and rose infused whipped cream. If those sound like heaven to you, I can confirm that they really are!
Of course I couldn't leave Ladurée without a box of macarons to go!
After brunch and a little bit of window shopping in Soho, we headed to the upper west side. I love the vibe that the lush green spaces and renowned performing arts venues give to this area. The immaculate brownstones and impeccable storefronts lend this neighborhood a surprisingly village-like vibe.
My favorite shopping spots in the Upper West side are Century 21 and the Bloomingdales Outlet store. I always end up making one in a lifetime designer finds at ridiculous prices there! I love to go to Shake Shack if I'm ever craving burgers and yummy milkshakes and Levain Bakery's cookies are a must try if you're ever in this area!
My look for the day was edgy but comfy.
We wanted to get a couple of those delectable Levain Bakery cookies (the chocolate chip and walnut ones are my FAVEE!) but the line was insanely long! So we decided against it. When we got tired of walking and shopping around we stopped for cupcakes at Georgetown cupcakes. The perfect sweet ending to a perfect day!
My second day in the city was even crazier and jam-packed than the first one! It started with a pampering appointment at the CARAVAN Styling Studio, located at the Gregory hotel which is right around the corner from Herald Square. There I met up with Valerie, a beauty junkie and connoisseur who got me ready for the photoshoot I had planned in the afternoon by taking care of my nails, hair and make up.
Let me just tell you that she's simply amazing at what she does! I was in love with my braided hair and my make up never looked so good!
I really loved the quirky luxe vibe of the studio!
How fun are these fashion dollls from a New York city based fashion designer/artist??
Can you name them all? (Let me just tell you that I spent like an hour trying to!)
Nails were a struggle. I had been on a 5 hours flight then day before which really weakened my nails and a lot ended up breaking. So all my nails were different lenghts. But Valerie quickly trimmed them and make them look very cohesive! I chose white for my mani, which I think is a perfect color for spring and looks extremely good on a tan hand!
The space is filled with powerful positive messages just like this mirror art installation by Bottled Brooklyn which promotes self empowerment.
After a couple of hours I was fabulous and photoshoot ready! But since it was still too early i decided to shop a little bit and take care of the beautiful day by walking around the city.
Needless to say that this Forever 21 outfit came home with me!
Once again my favorite thing to do while walking around in the city is to look up.
But sometimes the cutest things are just right in front of you! Like, can we talk about this pastel pink Vespa and polka dot helmet?? #GOALS
After all this walking it was finally time for food! We stopped at 12 Chairs Cafe and ordered a feast for ourselves! Shakshuka with a greek salad, mini lamb kebabs, guacamole, french toasts and pancakes with fresh fruits and the most delicious fresh squeezed lemonade! Everything was absolutely amazing! I definitely recommend this spot!
After we got our energy back it was finally time to shoot my look. Loved the vibe of this hotel ever since I walked by it a year ago.

No city in the world feels more like home than NYC. Last week, thanks to a fortunate turn of events, I ended up taking an impromptu trip and flying to the big apple! This getaway wasn't planned at all (I literally got my tickets 12 hours before my departure thanks to a friend that works for the airline) but I managed to quickly pack up my things and alert all my friends that I was going to see them very soon!
As soon as I landed at JFK I dropped off my bags at my friend's place in Brooklyn and headed to the city to meet up with her! We chose Union Square as our first stop because it's one of our favorite places in the city.
Tons of good food places (my favorites are Desi Shack for indian food, Chopt' for delicious salads, Edo for sushis and of course Chipotle for mexican!), great shopping spots (from Nordstrom Rack, Forever 21, Sephora and MAC to Beacon's closet, one of the best thirft store out there!) and a beautiful park perfect for pictures and relaxing in the sun. I was so lucky to find beautiful weather in the city and spring was in full bloom.
My outfit for my first day in NYC was the same outfit I was wearing in the plane, so comfort was key for me. I opted for an all denim ensemble and added neutral colors.
Denim shirt: Abercrombie & Fitch - Jeans: J. Crew - Espadrilles and bag: Chanel - Biker jacket and sunglasses: Céline.
We had (an absolutely DELICIOUS!) lunch at Desi Shack (no surprise there!). I got a basmati rice bowl with veggies and paneer and Yana got the chicken tikka. Both dishes were to die for and we got mango lassis to tone down the spiciness of the sauce.
Had been waiting for this moment for over 6 months!!
Can't get over the prettiness of NYC buildings. Wherever we walk around, I am always looking up.
We ended up walking to Washington Square park from Union Square because we wanted to check out Crossroads, another very interesting thrift store. Washington Square park is another one of my favorite spots in the city. From there you can see the Empire state building, the Flatiron building, you can get yummy burgers and shakes at Shake Shack (my faves though are the cheese fries!!) and you can top it all with ice cream from Eataly.
After all the walking and shopping, we were starving so we headed to the east side to Antico Noé for dinner, our last stop for the day. This was our first time there and we got to discover the centuries-old tradition behind these delicious internationally acclaimed paninis. I had the opportunity to taste some of the best paninis I've ever had (like the #21 or #23) and fell in love with the vegetarian one. The mix of grilled veggies and homemade pesto sauce in between two layers of soft on the inside yet crunchy on the outside Italian bread took me back to my Italian childhood days and immediately made of Antico Noé my new favorite sandwich shop in the city.
A little piece of Italy in NYC.
A few pictures from a look I wore in NYC before leaving for my road trip, accompanied by this lovely quote from Christian Dior. This has always been one of my favorite quotes because of accurate I think it is.
It was a very pleasant morning in Bryant Park and I finally decided to wear this gorgeous midi skirt for the first time. When I got it online a couple of months ago, I fell in love with the print and color and I'm always one to wear a gorgeous statement piece but it was nothing like all the other clothes I own. I hadn't tried midi skirts yet but every time I saw a blogger wear one I thought they looked fantastic! I decided to pair mine with a peach blouse and some mary janes!
I loved how it looked and I'm already thinking about how to style it next! Maybe I'll try wearing it with a tighter neutral top and a very pink statement necklace to make the flowers on the skirt pop even more!
Top: BCBG - Skirt: Shein - Bag: Balenciaga - Shoes: Stuart Weitzman

This quote by Oscar Wilde has always been very close to my heart. I always was the nerd of my class, studying all the day long and acing all my tests and I am firmly convinced that getting an education is the most important thing anyone could do. But I also love overdressing, even if it's just to go out with friends, being all fancy makes me happy!
Today was another sunny summer morning in NYC wearing a not so average outfit in an outstanding location. The New York Public Library has always been one of my favorite places in the city: from the imposing columns at the entrance guarded by indestructible lions to the silence of its halls and the coldness of the marble. Everything made me feel like I got back in time and ended up in another era!
This gorgeous Shabby Apple opal blue dress is the most perfect dress if you're looking to dress up for an outdoors event like a wedding or a fancy tea party this summer! The lightweight material feels very fresh and cool on the skin and the fit and flare silhouette makes it very airy and flattering for every body type. I decided to pair this beautiful dress with pointy mary jane heels and over-the-top statement jewelry to make it even more elegant and sophisticated.

Wishing you all a great end of the week! Thank you so much for reading!
Red isn't only the title of a hilarious movie starring Bruce Willis (oh how I love that movie! Tell me I'm not the only one!?), it's also one of the strongest and most vibrant colors out there and not one I normally wear, except on the lips.
But when I saw this gorgeous Ted Baker lace dress online last Christmas, I knew I had to have it!
After months of perseverance I finally found it on sale the other day!
I initially was planning to wait until my birthday (coming up next week!) to wear it but the wait was harder than I anticipated. I caved and went to the Brooklyn Bridge to shoot these pictures.

Bracelet: Hermès - Bag: Saint Laurent
Have a great weekend ahead loves!
It's not very often that you can attend a lunch with a celebrity and it's even less common to be able to get life and career advice directly from them. Leave it to Business Chicks to make your dreams come true! This very pink and girly Australian company strives to bring like-minded souls together – to give them a chance to swap ideas, share stories, and spark inspiration.
I feel so proud and lucky to have had the chance to participate in their American launch and have met their team as well as their outstanding members!

Rachel Zoe isn't just a celebrity stylist. She is the author of two books, a jewelry and clothing designer, reality show star and an entrepreneur in her own right.
The dining room doors finally open and we discovered a ballroom filled with beautifully set tables.
The gorgeous set up for the interview.
So many goodies on the table!
And in the goodies bag of course!
Who run the world? GIRLS!
Lunch is served! And it was delicious!
And after the dessert, the best part of the event, Rachel Zoe's arrival!
She was wearing a tuxedo and a blouse from her own line.
During the interview she shared with us her fears of taking the leap at 23 and going freelance, some of her hilarious styling mistake that she thought were going to cost her her career but just made her stronger and her endless motivation to achieve everything she wants in life.
