Every year attending fashion week becomes more and more fun! I am so thankful to be able to travel to this amazing city and attend all these fun shows and events and being able to share all of this with you guys makes it all a hundred times better!
My first day in New York turned out to be pretty full: a nail and makeup appointment in the morning at Caravan styling studio to get me ready for the Control Sector fashion show in the afternoon and the Lulu's Style Studio Party at night. I also had the time to have a yummy lunch with my babe Yana and of course take tons of #foodporn pics.
For my first NYFW day I chose a simple yet elegant and trendy look: all black and white with lace and Chanel.

Thank you Caravan for making me pretty and spoiling me with a bag full of fun goodies!
Lunch at The Growler was INSANE!
After lunch I went straight to the Style Fashion Week fashion show where I attended the Control Sector fashion show (as I'm sure you've seen on my InstaStory!).
Lastly, I ended this first day on the best way possible: attending the Lulu's Style Studio influencers party. Between good music, fashion sketches, fun goodies, an open bar and cool giveaways I had such an amazing night and met some fantastic fellow bloggers!
Last month as my birthday gift I went on a 5 days getaway to Saint Barth, one of my favorite island in the Caribbeans. Among white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, luxury shopping, fine dining and breathtaking views I had a truly amazing time and here I am, finally sharing everything with you!
We stayed at Le Village, a cute little hotel in Saint Jean, just a few steps away from the Nikki Beach, one of my favorite places to spend a day under the sun with good music playing on the background and great food and drinks.
We rented a convertible mini Cooper and had the best time driving around with the top down! The island is so small you can never get lost and driving around is really easy. However walking is not an option as there are many hills and the day it's way too hot to enjoy walking anywhere.
The pool area of the hotel was so charming, and the view was unbeatable!
One of my favorite things about this hotel is the bookshelves filled with books int he reception area and breakfast lounge: you can borrow them during your stay and even take them home with you if you're not finished reading them! There are books in English, French, German, Spanish and tons of other languages and you'll find all kinds of books from novels to poetry to manuals. Also the breakfast buffet was a delight. It changed every morning and had many different kinds of juice, pastries, fruits, etc. Our room at the hotel was very clean and modern. A lot of closet space was available and I of course took advantage of it right away!
There are so many wonderful beaches on the island that it's hard to pick one in the morning, when planning the day! We already knew some of them so we decided to go ahead and discover new ones: the first day we went to the Grand Cul de Sac beach. We had the beach basically to ourselves and had a picnic there with some food we bought at the grocer on our way there. It was so peaceful and
After a long day of sun, sea and tanning (exhausting I know!) our favorite thing to do was to go to Gustavia where the harbor is and walk by the water and pick a different restaurant to enjoy every night.
Mango and strawberry frozen smoothies by the water, so good and refreshing!
In Gustavia you can also find the best luxury shops like Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Cartir, Bulgari and many other local store that sell designer sunglasses and brand name watches. The island is a tax free haven so get ready to score some great deals! I didn't think twice when I saw the bracelet I wanted for so long at the Hermès boutique. Happy birthday to me!
And here's the reveal of the content of that little orange bag of happiness :D
The island is so small and picturesque, around every corner you might find amazing views and stunning scenery. On our second day we were headed to Anse des Flamands, an endless white sand beach with crystal clear water, and on our way there we stumbled upon this spot. So insanely perfect for pictures.
This is the view you have when you arrive at Anse des Flamands. Basically happiness in a picture.
OMG please take me back!!
After the beach we were all starving so we headed back to Gustavia to go have a yummy lunch at L'Isoletta, our favorite Italian restaurant. I got the Grapefruit and Orange salad and a slice of pizza on the terrace. Seriously, #lunchgoals.
On the following day, we ventured to Anse de Colombier, a secluded beach you can only reach by boat or by a 15/20 minutes hike. This beach is famous for being the private beach of American businessman Rockerfeller, who at his time bought a huge mansion overlooking the bay. The hike isn't that bad and on the way down we found some great picture spots, totally postcard-worthy. Plus, the beach is really beautiful.
When you finally reach the bay, the view doesn't disappoint.
My only complaint about beaches in Saint Barth is that there is hardly any shade: the sun is really strong, especially in the middle of the day and after 3 straight days of laying on the beach all day long I felt like my skin was begging me for a break. So my advice is to start your day pretty early so you can leave the beach at noon when the sun starts becoming too strong, of course apply sunscreen extremely often and if you can, find a spot to lay your beach towels next to some trees or big rocks where you'll eventually have some kind of shade. That's how I survived and avoided an awful sunburn!
I fell in love with this Zara blouse at first sight. From the cold shoulders to the ruffles, to the light pastel color, so perfect for summer. I admit I have been wearing it a little too often but I tend to obsess over my favorite pieces of clothing! I snapped these pictures the other day before a lunch date by the water with my brother :) I feel so lucky to be able to live on this beautiful island!

In honor of Mother's Day, my brother and I took my mom out for a walk, a little window shopping and an ice cream date yesterday. The weather was absolutely perfect, the sun was shining yet it wasn't too hot nor humid. When we walked by this cute little bench in front of this pink flower explosion we couldn't help ourselves and decided to stop and take some mother daughter pictures :D I am so glad I got to spend some quality time with her and show her how thankful I am to have her!
So of course I also wanted to dedicate this post to her, the woman who taught me everything I know and that has been there for me through thin and thick. She is my biggest inspiration and my best friend and she deserves all the happiness in the world! I hope one day I'll be as awesome a mom as she is to me!

Just look at how happy she is with her ice cream! haha while I'm just trying to take a decent picture of the ice cream before it melt completely!
Strawberry, passion fruit and yogurt ice cream, my absolute favorite flavors!
Wishing all the beautiful mothers out there a happy Mother's Day! You are our real heroes!
Almost at the end of March but I finally have narrowed down my ultimate wishlist for the current year! I am determined in spending less money on impulse purchases and fast fashion items and really save my bucks for the things I really wanted which is everything here down below!
How about you? What's on your current wishlist?
New York City will never cease to surprise me! One second you are walking down the pretty streets in the west village lined with historical houses and the second after it looks like you've been transported to a small village in the South of France or Italy, with cobblestone on the ground and colorful little houses and restaurants all over! Another thing that never fails to surprise me is Forever 21: I used to shop there a lot and only go there rarely now. However I can never manage to leave empty handed. When I saw this dress last week in stores for less $30 I couldn't let it pass! It looks much more expensive that it is in my opinion, plus the quality is great and the open back is so subtle and sexy!
Oh also, can we talk about these Aquazzura look-alike heels that I snagged for less than $35?! I'm in love!
Oh, how I love this time of the year! The days are still sunny even though the temperatures are much lower, which means we can wear thick sweater and comfy Ugg boots and drink tons of hot tea. I love taking Otto (my puppy) out for walks in parks, seeing all the different shades of the leaves on the trees, from green to red and coming home after a long day out and make pumpkin spice oatmeal.
I might be the biggest lip balm addict in the world. My lips need to constantly be hydrated with a layer of lip balm or I feel naked. It becomes even more important to always have lip balm with me when the temperatures drop. My absolute favorite lip balms are Baby Lips, of course. I have one in every purse and every make up bag and go through them pretty quickly! I love all the different yummy scents as well, and my favorite is definitely the pink one (Pink Punch)!
I have to admit that at first I didn't get why everybody loved the Naked palettes so much. I thought they were overpriced and just a hype item to own (and who would need that many shades?!). But I just got the Naked 3 palette and I am seriously understanding the hype around them. I love the rose gold tones in this make up set and how pigmented these shades are. I am thinking of getting the Naked 2 already as well as the Naked basics! So glad I changed my mind about these, a serious addiction is about to start!
My absolute favorite piece of clothing this month is this gorgeous tweed coat from Cynthia Rowley that I found at Marshalls from only $30! It looks much more expensive than it was in my opinion and it's a timeless and very sophisticated looking piece.

I've always wanted to get these beautiful Miu Miu sunglasses since I first saw them 7 years ago! Thank to Ditto I get to use them as much as I want and swap them for a different pair when I feel like I need a change! If you also want to try a pair of designer sunglasses for a whole month for FREE use the code "SHOPWEARREPEAT" on www.ditto.com!
These Gina Made It bun bows and the perfect finishing touch to all my outfits lately! I chose a pastel pink one, very ladylike and sophisticated and a red plaid one, perfect for fall! They look great at the end of braids and on top of buns or high pony tails and give a romantic French touch to every outfit!
Pearl bracelet: Tiffany & Co. - Pink Rockstud bracelet: Valentino - Pastel pink H bracelet: Hermès
I have been on the hunt for the perfect hair care regimen for years now. My hair is very thick and wavy and I always tame it with hot tools. I was so excited to receive the new Nexxus 3 step split end repairing system from Influenster! Step 1 is a silicone free shampoo with flax seed oil and concentrated protein that leaves my hair super soft and smelling amazing! The second step is the conditioner and step 3 is the heat protecting mist to apply to wet or dry hair before styling them. My hair looks super healthy, feels incredibly soft and smells wonderful! It's my first time trying this brand and I am seriously impressed!
Another beautiful day in the city! My friend and I decided to go to lunch and take a stroll in Washington Square park in the NYU area. Of course we ended up doing a little shopping afterward and I found a gorgeous and super glamorous black faux fur that I can't wait to show you guys. I was a bit chilly out (especially when the wind was blowing!) but the sun felt so good and warm! This time of year can be tricky because you never know if you'll end up being cold or super hot by the middle of the day! My secret is to always bring a chunky scarf with me: it's a real live-saver believe me!
I really love and cherish every single moment spent in this beautiful city. When I look around I am just so incredibly grateful for being able to live in New York!
New York's weather has been so good to us lately! These fall days have been beyond wonderful: very crisp mornings, warm afternoons and the sun has been shining over the warm-colored leaves of the trees all around the city making everything so magical! That's what inspired me to go ahead and wear this pretty dress. At first I wanted to wait for that special occasion in the future, for which this dress would have been perfect, but I changed my mind and decided to honor the gorgeous time of the year but going all out!
I simply love how the city is changing, along with the seasons and I am rediscovering lots of picturesque spots all around Manhattan, like this beautiful building, house of the old police headquarters.
Dress: Shein - Flats: Zara - Bag: Saint Laurent - Bracelet: Hermès - Sunglasses: Dior
Fall shopping has to be one of the most exciting things to do at this time of year (#ShopaholicAnonymus)! I absolutely love thick and soft materials to layer and play with and all the warm earthy colors we can find in stores right now. Yesterday the weather was so beautiful so we decided to take a walk in the park and I, of course, jumped on the occasion to wear all my fall items I recently purchased. Burgundy is a staple at this time of year: to let this gorgeous color stand out I paired it with neutrals. A cream comfy chunky sweater and these suede knee-high boots with a trendy block heel that add instant sophistication to any outfit!
I love the half-tuck trick: it helps making your waist look smaller and it adds dimension to any outfit!
H Bracelet: Hermès - Ring: YSL - Watch: Michael Kors - Nails: Essie "Happy Wife Happy Life"
