As I'm sure you've all noticed by now, pink is one of my favorite colors and when spring comes around I cannot help but wearing soft pastels and fresh whites. The other day I was strolling on avenue Montaigne and the Champs Elysées and decided to pop into Zara for a second to see the new arrivals. I saw this bubblegum pink ruffle top with bows on the sleeves and immediately knew it was meant to be shot in the colorful Rue Crémieux, where all the houses are painted different pastel shades. The street really looks like a giant box of macarons and was filled with people taking pictures. Of course I chose the pinkest of them all.
There aren't many cities in the world that take your breath away as often as Paris does.
It almost feels like time has stopped there: every little street is magical and every street corner seems to have in store wonderful surprises for the ones who are willing to look for them. Nothing can beat letting your sight wander out of the window of your car, while stuck in traffic, and seeing the iron lady stand tall and fierce in front of you. So here's an ode to the city of lights, may you always remain beautiful, strong and timeless.
Paris welcomed me with beautiful weather and warm temperatures. What else could I possibly ask for? On my first day in the French capital I woke up super early and headed out to rue Saint Honoré to walk around the shops and do some shopping. Because all the shops had just opened the atmosphere was super quiet and relaxing. I had tea at Chanel rue Cambon and tried on some jewelry, then went to to Ladurée to get yummy macarons and ended up on the Alexander III bridge to shoot these pictures. Couldn't have hoped for a warmer welcome from this amazing city!
If I had to write one blog post for every single gorgeous sight I saw while I was in Holland, it would take me weeks to get through everything. I really loved The Netherlands: not only the people there, or the number of doggies there were basically everywhere but the nature is so well preserved and treasured and the cities even though they are super busy and filled with people don't seem that stressful at all. We went to The Hague, a city on the western coast of the Netherlands home of the Permanent Court of Arbitration, ate delicious fish and were blessed with a breathtaking sunset!
The Peace Palace in The Hague, seat of the Permanent Court of Arbitration
No trip to Holland is complete without a visit to the iconic windmills. We went to the Kinderdijk windmill park and it was so picturesque and rustic and just adorable! People actually still live in some of the windmills! Isn't that crazy?
Finally probably the most famous sight in the whole country are the endless tulip fields. Keukenhof is the country's Tulip Garden, is only open 2 months a year and we were lucky enough to go at the right time. The park is absolutely beautiful, there were many locals with the dogs as well as tons of tourists walking around admiring the beauty of all the flowers compositions. The entrance is 16€ per person and parking is 6€ which my Dutch friend thought was pretty expensive but I thought it was money well spent!
Hello there loves! I am coming to you from the Netherlands where I am spending 5 days visiting friends, exploring and discovering the country. This is my first time here but thanks to my awesome guides I am experiencing all the best Holland has to offer! On Saturday we had an amazing day in Amsterdam. This is what I advise you to do if you're ever here to make the most out of your trip:
Dam Square: the most famous square of the city was our first stop. Among all the wandering tourists and jostling locals you'll be able to see the royal palace, the historical church where all the royals' ceremonies still take place and the World War II national monument. Of course you'll also find amazing shopping like De Bijenkorf (the beehive), a 5-floor department store that carries all the most prestigious brands, as well as brands like Zara, Mango, Urban Outfitters, NYX and Forever 21 in the pedestrian street Kalvestraat.
Koninklijk Paleis Amsterdam - the Royal Palace
The crooked houses: everywhere in the city you'll notice how so many of the buildings are leaning and look like they're going to collapse at any given time. Because these houses are so old and Amsterdam is a city built on water the foundations of these buildings, built with wood, have shifted quite a lot. Nowadays they filled everything with ciment so there's no actual danger but it still looks very impressive!
The kennels and the red light district: the kennels, constantly lines with parked bikes, make for the perfect photo backdrop. You can take a boat tour and go around the city or just walk the streets and wander among all the "coffee shops" and end up in the red light district, where women in sexy attire call out passing men to from behind the club's windows. A very particular and unique experience may I say.
Amsterdam Central Station, first opened in 1889
Art Square and I "am" Amsterdam sign: You'll find this always super busy with tourists taking pictures in front of the iconic sign and locals biking with their families checking out the latest art exhibitions. The square is huge and super duper pretty and makes for a perfect photoshoot spot!
Hello loves! I am finally back and I realize have some explaining to do.
The past few months were a bit hard for me because of how unsure everything seemed. I was working hard to make all the things I always wanted happen but nothing seemed to go my way. My day job kept me very busy Monday through Saturdays and because I moved back to Guadeloupe (where my parents currently live) I had no photographer to work with or friend to help me out.
So I continued posting on Instagram as much as I could but unfortunately had to take a little break from posting on here.
But fear no more I am now back and for good!

As we speak I am in the Netherlands visiting a friend and exploring the country for a few days. After this I'll go to Paris where I’ll spend a few days before flying out again to New York. A fun getaway you say? No, not really. More like a huge life change! I am officially moving back to New York City and will start work there in a week.
I am so excited for Paris because I’ll get to see my brother, who lives and studies there, and of course for all of the shopping and sightseeing I am planning to do.
But I am even more looking forward to start a new chapter of my life in the big apple. I have been waiting for this moment for years and tried so many times to make this happen. I am so grateful to finally be able to say that I’ve made it. It wasn’t easy: it was long and painful. I got discouraged so many times. But I kept going because there was nothing I wanted more.
Don’t be afraid to follow your dreams, as crazy as they might seem to you. If you really care, you will find a way to make it happen.
So cheers this new exciting chapter of my life. Can’t wait to share it all with you!
A foggy fall morning in the city and a perfectly empty Brooklyn bridge: nothing better to shoot this beautiful Raul Penaranda outfit. The skirt is actually a gorgeous column beaded gown with a sexy slit on the side and very plunging neckline, but layer it with this floral crop top and it becomes perfectly day-appropriate.
A stunning little white dress, sparkly heels and New York City at the end of a busy day.
It doesn't get any more magical than this.
Hope you'll all enjoy the second look I shot in collaboration with Raul Penaranda and the amazing Gabriel! We chose the Lincoln Center because of its gorgeous architecture and stunning white marble buildings. Little did we know that "professional photoshoots" are not allowed so after the security guard warned us the once we had to be super sneaky and shoot all of these pictures as fast as possible! Oh jeez, the things bloggers do for a good picture.. Haha Hope you'll appreciate these even more now that you know the little anecdote that goes with them. ;)

These heels are sparkly perfection!
Sometimes real life is gets so perfect that for just a few quick seconds you forget about everything else around you and feel like you're in a fairy tale. Last month I spent 10 days in NYC for NYFW: among all the fashion shows and bloggers events I got the chance to meet so many amazing new people so incredibly passionate about what they do.
One of them was Raul Penaranda, a fashion designer based in New York, whose fashion show I attended for the second time this year (which you probably saw on my Instastory). I was so impressed with his SS17 collection: his aesthetic stands apart and all of his pieces reflect his innate capacity to mix edge and sophistication.
Gabriel is another one of those people whose passion and vision instantly transport you somewhere else. His pictures are always absolutely breathtaking, no matter if he's shooting the NYC skyline or a fashion model.
And it's when people like these come together that something magical happens.
Gabriel and I shot these pictures in Grand Central. I am wearing a stunning Raul Penaranda gown from his Spring Summer 2017 ready to wear collection and Givenchy gold sparkly heels.
The craziness never stops, especially in New York and ESPECIALLY during fashion week! After a quick breakfast at Starbucks my second day of NYFW started with the KYBOE! US launch and show. For the occasion I was wearing one of their amazing watches and I got to meet Shea from Peace and Love Shea and Carolina Vreeland there. After the show my babe Yana and I stopped by Trattoria Bianca for a quick lunch (the pizzas there were so amazing!)
My outfit for the day was edgier than usual with lots of black but I added a white lace top to keep it more feminine. I love how my Chanel bag always goes with absolutely everything! That's the thing with timeless pieces, they really are expensive, but totally worth the investment!
Top: Zara - Shorts: Shein - Boots: Moden Vice - Bag: Chanel - Bracelet: Hermès
We spent the afternoon shopping and walking around in the city and decided to get some delicious froyo for dessert at 16 handles: I got the peanut butter froyo with cookie dough and mini Reese's peanut butter cups on top. Let me just say it was heaven in a cup!
Every year attending fashion week becomes more and more fun! I am so thankful to be able to travel to this amazing city and attend all these fun shows and events and being able to share all of this with you guys makes it all a hundred times better!
My first day in New York turned out to be pretty full: a nail and makeup appointment in the morning at Caravan styling studio to get me ready for the Control Sector fashion show in the afternoon and the Lulu's Style Studio Party at night. I also had the time to have a yummy lunch with my babe Yana and of course take tons of #foodporn pics.
For my first NYFW day I chose a simple yet elegant and trendy look: all black and white with lace and Chanel.
Romper: Shein - Shoes: Valentino - Bracelet: Hermès Collier de chien
Thank you Caravan for making me pretty and spoiling me with a bag full of fun goodies!
Lunch at The Growler was INSANE!
After lunch I went straight to the Style Fashion Week fashion show where I attended the Control Sector fashion show (as I'm sure you've seen on my InstaStory!).
Lastly, I ended this first day on the best way possible: attending the Lulu's Style Studio influencers party. Between good music, fashion sketches, fun goodies, an open bar and cool giveaways I had such an amazing night and met some fantastic fellow bloggers!
All I need in summer is sun, the beach (or a nice pool :P) and being surrounded by flowers. Here's the look I chose for a brunch out with my cousin the other day in this lovely hotel.
Last month as my birthday gift I went on a 5 days getaway to Saint Barth, one of my favorite island in the Caribbeans. Among white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, luxury shopping, fine dining and breathtaking views I had a truly amazing time and here I am, finally sharing everything with you!
We stayed at Le Village, a cute little hotel in Saint Jean, just a few steps away from the Nikki Beach, one of my favorite places to spend a day under the sun with good music playing on the background and great food and drinks.
We rented a convertible mini Cooper and had the best time driving around with the top down! The island is so small you can never get lost and driving around is really easy. However walking is not an option as there are many hills and the day it's way too hot to enjoy walking anywhere.
The pool area of the hotel was so charming, and the view was unbeatable!
One of my favorite things about this hotel is the bookshelves filled with books int he reception area and breakfast lounge: you can borrow them during your stay and even take them home with you if you're not finished reading them! There are books in English, French, German, Spanish and tons of other languages and you'll find all kinds of books from novels to poetry to manuals. Also the breakfast buffet was a delight. It changed every morning and had many different kinds of juice, pastries, fruits, etc. Our room at the hotel was very clean and modern. A lot of closet space was available and I of course took advantage of it right away!
There are so many wonderful beaches on the island that it's hard to pick one in the morning, when planning the day! We already knew some of them so we decided to go ahead and discover new ones: the first day we went to the Grand Cul de Sac beach. We had the beach basically to ourselves and had a picnic there with some food we bought at the grocer on our way there. It was so peaceful and
After a long day of sun, sea and tanning (exhausting I know!) our favorite thing to do was to go to Gustavia where the harbor is and walk by the water and pick a different restaurant to enjoy every night.
Mango and strawberry frozen smoothies by the water, so good and refreshing!
In Gustavia you can also find the best luxury shops like Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Cartir, Bulgari and many other local store that sell designer sunglasses and brand name watches. The island is a tax free haven so get ready to score some great deals! I didn't think twice when I saw the bracelet I wanted for so long at the Hermès boutique. Happy birthday to me!
And here's the reveal of the content of that little orange bag of happiness :D
The island is so small and picturesque, around every corner you might find amazing views and stunning scenery. On our second day we were headed to Anse des Flamands, an endless white sand beach with crystal clear water, and on our way there we stumbled upon this spot. So insanely perfect for pictures.
This is the view you have when you arrive at Anse des Flamands. Basically happiness in a picture.
OMG please take me back!!
After the beach we were all starving so we headed back to Gustavia to go have a yummy lunch at L'Isoletta, our favorite Italian restaurant. I got the Grapefruit and Orange salad and a slice of pizza on the terrace. Seriously, #lunchgoals.
On the following day, we ventured to Anse de Colombier, a secluded beach you can only reach by boat or by a 15/20 minutes hike. This beach is famous for being the private beach of American businessman Rockerfeller, who at his time bought a huge mansion overlooking the bay. The hike isn't that bad and on the way down we found some great picture spots, totally postcard-worthy. Plus, the beach is really beautiful.
When you finally reach the bay, the view doesn't disappoint.
My only complaint about beaches in Saint Barth is that there is hardly any shade: the sun is really strong, especially in the middle of the day and after 3 straight days of laying on the beach all day long I felt like my skin was begging me for a break. So my advice is to start your day pretty early so you can leave the beach at noon when the sun starts becoming too strong, of course apply sunscreen extremely often and if you can, find a spot to lay your beach towels next to some trees or big rocks where you'll eventually have some kind of shade. That's how I survived and avoided an awful sunburn!
I fell in love with this Zara blouse at first sight. From the cold shoulders to the ruffles, to the light pastel color, so perfect for summer. I admit I have been wearing it a little too often but I tend to obsess over my favorite pieces of clothing! I snapped these pictures the other day before a lunch date by the water with my brother :) I feel so lucky to be able to live on this beautiful island!

Happy Friday loves! Here are the pics from a beach party that took place at a gorgeous hotel here in Guadeloupe the other day. I got back from NYC with so many new pretty clothes that I won't have to face the "I don't have anything to wear" struggle for at least a couple of months!! Haha (Shopaholic? Me? I think you're mistaken Sir..) Anyways this gorgeous lace dress is a perfect dupe to the expensive Mister Self Portrait one and is so inexpensive! I can vouch for the quality and you can see for yourself that the details are absolutely perfect!
How pretty is this lace? And how cool is that criss-crossed back?
This very pink post concludes my New York adventures. On this last day in the city my babe Yana and I met up with the lovely Katya from Flora Theory and we had an amazing lunch at Bluestone Lane in the West Village. Then we proceeded to snap some pictures with this gorgeous flower box by Flora Theory! The weather was absolutely perfect but the company was even better! So sad to be leaving this amazing city once again!
Oh New York, how I love you! From your busy streets to your wonderful parks, every single corner of this city is filled with love and excitement and surprises. Every time I'm here I fall in love with you a little more.

I've walked by this building hundreds of times and took pictures of it almost every time. I always thought it was a beautiful church since it even has a beautifully taken care of garden with gorgeous blooms and many very picturesque tables and benches and of course a fountain. That was until I actually stopped by and inquired. You'll never guess what this is: it's one of the numerous branches of the New York Public Library! Isn't this amazing? It made me appreciate this stunning building even more. No matter how well I think I know you, New York, you'll never stop surprising me!

Every time I'm in the city I cannot help but testing as many restaurants as I possibly can. Today between a bloggers meeting in Little Italy and a showroom appointment in Times Square I have been running around Manhattan like a crazy person! Comfort was key when deciding what to wear: I opted for this laid back but still somewhat elegant romper and comfy espadrilles. Add a lace bralette and a super trendy choker and you've got yourself an insanely stylish yet extremely practical everyday outfit.

I met up with my babe Yana and a fellow blogger Dikla for lunch at Seamore's. We tried the fried fish tacos and the vegan tacos (with broccoli and a tofu sauce) and an order of Poke (raw fish, peanuts and avocado) to share. I had been wanting to try out this restaurant for the longest time. Its adorable outdoor seating area and incredible online reviews giving always made me want to go ahead and try it and I'm so happy I finally did! Everything was really good and now I want to come back and try some more things from their menu.
After our tacos we walked around little italy and soho and finally stopped by Gorgetown Cupcakes for dessert. We got their Black and White cupcakes which are chocolate cupcakes with vanilla frosting. To be honest, these are my ultimate guilty pleasure! So incredibly soft and flavorful!
It's with a full stomach that I then headed uptown to the Theater District to go visit the Modern Vice showroom.
Modern Vice is a really cool handcrafted footwear and accessory brand that imports all of the leather and hardware directly from Italy and produces shoes in house in New York City. I had the pleasure to tour their showroom and production space (I took you guys along with me on Snapchat by the way! If you don't follow me yet go ahead, my username is "sarahgallazzi") and even got to choose a couple of pairs of super cool boots! They will be handmade and will probably be ready in a couple of weeks: I am so excited to receive them and show them to you!
Shoes galore at Modern Vice.
My first day in New York turned out to be one of the best days ever! I met up with my favorite babe Yana (from @MissYanaCherie) and started our day in Soho. As usual we went to Georgetown cupcakes for a small morning treat (did you know that they give away free 100 cupcakes every day?? Just go there between 10am and noon and ask for one! You're welcome ;) ). After the delicious chocolate cupcake with vanilla frosting on top we decided to just stroll around soho and ended up in front of Saint Laurent. The store front was so cute that I decided to take outfit pics in front of it!

These two bangles from The Peach Box are my absolute favorite pieces of jewelry right now! I cannot express to you how gorgeous and chic they are! They go beautifully with everything and are very high quality! As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words so just look for yourself:
Bracelets: The Peach Box
And then this happened.. I revealed what's inside on my Snapchat (my Snapchat is sarahgallazzi by the way)!
The Fendi store in Soho is also the cutest ever!
From Soho we then walked to the West Village to get to Olio e Più, one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITES restaurants in the city and strolled through Washington Square Park. Such a beautiful spring day.
Isn't this restaurant so adorable? I love their terrace and Yana and I were there for almost 3 hours eating the yummiest food and laughing and enjoying the sun.
We ordered the Antipasto misto (mix of charcuterie and cheese) and a side of focaccia (delicious Italian bread) as a starter and then I got the Sacchettoni cacio e pepe with a side of asparagus and Yana got the strip steak with pesto sauce and a side of sautée broccolis. Everything was beyond delicious! The asparagus was so flavorful and the antipasto misto brought back so many memories from my years in Italy! It was lovely!
Of course even after all that food, there's always room for dessert! So we ordered chocolate lava cakes and cappuccinos. If you saw my snaps of the cake you will know how good this was! :P
How stylish is that girl walking by on my right? #YASQUEEN
After all that food we just continued to walk and shop around and hit some of our most favorite stores (that I already told you all about in this post).
