City guide: Washington D.C.

Hello loves! Today I want to tell you all about the amazing long weekend I spent in Washington D.C. with my babe Yana (from @MissYanaCherie). D.C. is very different from most American cities I've visited: its historical neighborhoods, famous monuments and magnificent old buildings remind me a lot of European cities. The atmosphere there was one of timeless charm and we had an absolutely incredible time exploring the city. So if you're planning to visit D.C. in the future, here are the top things I would recommend.

Staying

We were lucky enough to partner with Marriott during our trip and got the opportunity to stay at the Marriott Georgetown. The hotel was the first Marriott built in the country's capital and has recently been renovated to showcase a reinvented hotel experience. Boldly transforming itself for global travelers who blend work and play (aka bloggers!), Marriott leads the industry with innovations enabling the next generation to #TravelBrilliantly. The location of the hotel is perfect: just a short 10 minutes stroll to Georgetown and a 20 minutes walk to the Lincoln Memorial, the National Mall and all the Smithsonian Museums.

Our suite was extremely spacious, modern and comfortable. From cozy robes to a huge smart tv to top of the line bathroom essentials nothing was missing!

The personal handwritten note and this delectable welcome tray were such a nice surprise!

Shopping

Because our hotel was in Georgetown we were there basically every day. The historical little town is the perfect destination to walk around, shop, eat and discover a few points of interest such as the Old Stone House and the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal.
You'll find there all the main street names from Zara to Forever 21, Intermix and even a TJ Maxx! (which, I'll admit, is on of my favorite stores ever!)

Dining

We had most of our meals at the Marriott Georgetown, taking full advantage of the M Lounge Club that offers an amazing breakfast buffet every morning, snack throughout the whole day and small bites and appetizers in the evening.

However we did indulge in a Italian dinner feast at Flavio, in Gerogetown. The cute outdoor seating area will catch your eye but the bite of margherita pizza they let you sample will steal your heart! Special mention goes to the uber popular Lobster Diavolo pasta: believe me when I say it's their most popular dish for a valid reason!

For a quick sugar fix there is plenty of choice: Sprinkle cupcakes, Laduree and of course the original location of Georgetown cupcakes

Sightseeing

The Old Georgetown, Dupont Circle and Foggy Bottom are historic neighborhoods, all within walking distance from each other where the buildings are beautifully preserved. Walking down those streets early in the morning we just felt like time stopped.

The Library of Congress turned out to be one of my absolute favorite places I have ever visited in my whole life. No joke! The architecture inside the building was simply breathtaking and we just got lost in its stunning rooms. We also saw a couple of newlyweds taking their pictures there and let me just tell you that is actual #relationshipgoals!

Of course no visit to D.C. is complete without a stop at the National Mall. There are so many museums, memorials and monuments around it that we spent a whole day in the area and still didn't get to see everything!

It was such an emotional moment getting to stand where so many incredible men that shaped the history stood and walk their steps.

The Smithsonian castle and its gardens were our favorite part and the Hirshhorn museum of contemporary art was definitely the most interesting museum I've ever been at! They also hold very instagrammable temporary exhibitions there, unfortunately we happened to visit while they were right in between exhibitions! (just our luck..)

Have you ever been to Washington D.C. or anybody lives there? What are some of your favorite things to do? Let me know in the comments!

Paris blues

Even though I'm already in New York I had to post these pictures I snapped a few days back in Paris. The Italian that lives in me had to stop everything and have an impromptu photoshoot when I stumbled upon this gorgeous façade in the 14th Arrondissement of the French capital. Can somebody explain to me why I was perfectly fine wearing short sleeves last month but I am now freeze my butt off and still wearing coats here in NYC? #struggles

Summer in New York

For my first post from New York I wanted to give you guys a perfect overview of what my days looks like here. The Big Apple is unlike any other city I've ever been to and that's exactly why I love it so much. There's always something to do, see and discover. I usually spend my weekends checking out new cute restaurants or dessert places, shopping at my favorite stores and hanging out and pic-nicking at my favorite parks.

For my outfits I like to keep it practical (no heels for busy city days that's for sure!) but still cute and super girly. I love the off the shoulders trend and I am a sucker for cute summer dresses and two piece outfits because they make it so easy to get ready in the morning and you always look so put together. I love shopping online fir different, unique pieces and TOBI is definitely one of my favorite websites do to that.

I especially love shopping around in Soho where all the best stores are and stopping by a few trusted thrift stores like Buffalo Exchange. If you follow me on my Instastory you might have noticed already ;)

I also especially love strolling in Central Park and Washington Square park while snacking on macarons or yummy chocolate chip cookies from Levain bakery. Cherry blossoms season made the city look so pretty!

Royals

Because being in Paris is basically living in a fairy tale, my blogger "job" has never been easier. Everywhere I go there always is a perfect photo opportunity just waiting for me. After some shopping at Gucci on the Rue Saint Honoré I ended up on the Jardins du Palais Royal (the Royal Palace Gardens) and couldn't help myself from shooting some pictures with my news goodies. I fell in love with the marmont line and I'm so happy I found both items I wanted! The heels are AMAZING quality, very comfortable and run half a size big (so size down!) and this bag, in this size and color, completely stole my heart! Paris is after all, the city of love. :)

Spring Pinks in Paris

As I'm sure you've all noticed by now, pink is one of my favorite colors and when spring comes around I cannot help but wearing soft pastels and fresh whites. The other day I was strolling on avenue Montaigne and the Champs Elysées and decided to pop into Zara for a second to see the new arrivals. I saw this bubblegum pink ruffle top with bows on the sleeves and immediately knew it was meant to be shot in the colorful Rue Crémieux, where all the houses are painted different pastel shades. The street really looks like a giant box of macarons and was filled with people taking pictures. Of course I chose the pinkest of them all.

Postcards from Paris

There aren't many cities in the world that take your breath away as often as Paris does.
It almost feels like time has stopped there: every little street is magical and every street corner seems to have in store wonderful surprises for the ones who are willing to look for them. Nothing can beat letting your sight wander out of the window of your car, while stuck in traffic, and seeing the iron lady stand tall and fierce in front of you. So here's an ode to the city of lights, may you always remain beautiful, strong and timeless.

Bonjour Paris!

Paris welcomed me with beautiful weather and warm temperatures. What else could I possibly ask for? On my first day in the French capital I woke up super early and headed out to rue Saint Honoré to walk around the shops and do some shopping. Because all the shops had just opened the atmosphere was super quiet and relaxing. I had tea at Chanel rue Cambon and tried on some jewelry, then went to to Ladurée to get yummy macarons and ended up on the Alexander III bridge to shoot these pictures. Couldn't have hoped for a warmer welcome from this amazing city!

Beautiful Holland Sights

If I had to write one blog post for every single gorgeous sight I saw while I was in Holland, it would take me weeks to get through everything. I really loved The Netherlands: not only the people there, or the number of doggies there were basically everywhere but the nature is so well preserved and treasured and the cities even though they are super busy and filled with people don't seem that stressful at all. We went to The Hague, a city on the western coast of the Netherlands home of the Permanent Court of Arbitration, ate delicious fish and were blessed with a breathtaking sunset!

The Peace Palace in The Hague, seat of the Permanent Court of Arbitration

No trip to Holland is complete without a visit to the iconic windmills. We went to the Kinderdijk windmill park and it was so picturesque and rustic and just adorable! People actually still live in some of the windmills! Isn't that crazy?

Finally probably the most famous sight in the whole country are the endless tulip fields. Keukenhof is the country's Tulip Garden, is only open 2 months a year and we were lucky enough to go at the right time. The park is absolutely beautiful, there were many locals with the dogs as well as tons of tourists walking around admiring the beauty of all the flowers compositions. The entrance is 16€ per person and parking is 6€ which my Dutch friend thought was pretty expensive but I thought it was money well spent!

Day trip to Amsterdam

Hello there loves! I am coming to you from the Netherlands where I am spending 5 days visiting friends, exploring and discovering the country. This is my first time here but thanks to my awesome guides I am experiencing all the best Holland has to offer! On Saturday we had an amazing day in Amsterdam. This is what I advise you to do if you're ever here to make the most out of your trip:

Dam Square: the most famous square of the city was our first stop. Among all the wandering tourists and jostling locals you'll be able to see the royal palace, the historical church where all the royals' ceremonies still take place and the World War II national monument. Of course you'll also find amazing shopping like De Bijenkorf (the beehive), a 5-floor department store that carries all the most prestigious brands, as well as brands like Zara, Mango, Urban Outfitters, NYX and Forever 21 in the pedestrian street Kalvestraat.

Koninklijk Paleis Amsterdam - the Royal Palace

The crooked houses: everywhere in the city you'll notice how so many of the buildings are leaning and look like they're going to collapse at any given time. Because these houses are so old and Amsterdam is a city built on water the foundations of these buildings, built with wood, have shifted quite a lot. Nowadays they filled everything with ciment so there's no actual danger but it still looks very impressive!

Blouse: Shein - Pants: Shein - Bag: Valentino - Shoes and Earrings: Chanel - Sunglasses: Céline

The kennels and the red light district: the kennels, constantly lines with parked bikes, make for the perfect photo backdrop. You can take a boat tour and go around the city or just walk the streets and wander among all the "coffee shops" and end up in the red light district, where women in sexy attire call out passing men to from behind the club's windows. A very particular and unique experience may I say.

Amsterdam Central Station, first opened in 1889

Art Square and I "am" Amsterdam sign: You'll find this always super busy with tourists taking pictures in front of the iconic sign and locals biking with their families checking out the latest art exhibitions. The square is huge and super duper pretty and makes for a perfect photoshoot spot!

A Much Needed Update!

Hello loves! I am finally back and I realize have some explaining to do.
The past few months were a bit hard for me because of how unsure everything seemed. I was working hard to make all the things I always wanted happen but nothing seemed to go my way. My day job kept me very busy Monday through Saturdays and because I moved back to Guadeloupe (where my parents currently live) I had no photographer to work with or friend to help me out.
So I continued posting on Instagram as much as I could but unfortunately had to take a little break from posting on here.

But fear no more I am now back and for good!

As we speak I am in the Netherlands visiting a friend and exploring the country for a few days. After this I'll go to Paris where I’ll spend a few days before flying out again to New York. A fun getaway you say? No, not really. More like a huge life change! I am officially moving back to New York City and will start work there in a week.

I am so excited for Paris because I’ll get to see my brother, who lives and studies there, and of course for all of the shopping and sightseeing I am planning to do.
But I am even more looking forward to start a new chapter of my life in the big apple. I have been waiting for this moment for years and tried so many times to make this happen. I am so grateful to finally be able to say that I’ve made it. It wasn’t easy: it was long and painful. I got discouraged so many times. But I kept going because there was nothing I wanted more.

Don’t be afraid to follow your dreams, as crazy as they might seem to you. If you really care, you will find a way to make it happen.

So cheers this new exciting chapter of my life. Can’t wait to share it all with you!

Lincoln Center Sundown

A stunning little white dress, sparkly heels and New York City at the end of a busy day.
It doesn't get any more magical than this.

Hope you'll all enjoy the second look I shot in collaboration with Raul Penaranda and the amazing Gabriel! We chose the Lincoln Center because of its gorgeous architecture and stunning white marble buildings. Little did we know that "professional photoshoots" are not allowed so after the security guard warned us the once we had to be super sneaky and shoot all of these pictures as fast as possible! Oh jeez, the things bloggers do for a good picture.. Haha Hope you'll appreciate these even more now that you know the little anecdote that goes with them. ;)

A Grand Central Fairy Tale

Sometimes real life is gets so perfect that for just a few quick seconds you forget about everything else around you and feel like you're in a fairy tale. Last month I spent 10 days in NYC for NYFW: among all the fashion shows and bloggers events I got the chance to meet so many amazing new people so incredibly passionate about what they do.
One of them was Raul Penaranda, a fashion designer based in New York, whose fashion show I attended for the second time this year (which you probably saw on my Instastory). I was so impressed with his SS17 collection: his aesthetic stands apart and all of his pieces reflect his innate capacity to mix edge and sophistication.
Gabriel is another one of those people whose passion and vision instantly transport you somewhere else. His pictures are always absolutely breathtaking, no matter if he's shooting the NYC skyline or a fashion model.

And it's when people like these come together that something magical happens.

Gabriel and I shot these pictures in Grand Central. I am wearing a stunning Raul Penaranda gown from his Spring Summer 2017 ready to wear collection and Givenchy gold sparkly heels.

NYFW Day 2

The craziness never stops, especially in New York and ESPECIALLY during fashion week! After a quick breakfast at Starbucks my second day of NYFW started with the KYBOE! US launch and show. For the occasion I was wearing one of their amazing watches and I got to meet Shea from Peace and Love Shea and Carolina Vreeland there. After the show my babe Yana and I stopped by Trattoria Bianca for a quick lunch (the pizzas there were so amazing!)

My outfit for the day was edgier than usual with lots of black but I added a white lace top to keep it more feminine. I love how my Chanel bag always goes with absolutely everything! That's the thing with timeless pieces, they really are expensive, but totally worth the investment!

Top: Zara - Shorts: Shein - Boots: Moden Vice - Bag: Chanel - Bracelet: Hermès

We spent the afternoon shopping and walking around in the city and decided to get some delicious froyo for dessert at 16 handles: I got the peanut butter froyo with cookie dough and mini Reese's peanut butter cups on top. Let me just say it was heaven in a cup!

NYFW Day 1

Every year attending fashion week becomes more and more fun! I am so thankful to be able to travel to this amazing city and attend all these fun shows and events and being able to share all of this with you guys makes it all a hundred times better!
My first day in New York turned out to be pretty full: a nail and makeup appointment in the morning at Caravan styling studio to get me ready for the Control Sector fashion show in the afternoon and the Lulu's Style Studio Party at night. I also had the time to have a yummy lunch with my babe Yana and of course take tons of #foodporn pics.

For my first NYFW day I chose a simple yet elegant and trendy look: all black and white with lace and Chanel.

Romper: Shein - Shoes: Valentino - Bracelet: Hermès Collier de chien

Thank you Caravan for making me pretty and spoiling me with a bag full of fun goodies!

Lunch at The Growler was INSANE!

After lunch I went straight to the Style Fashion Week fashion show where I attended the Control Sector fashion show (as I'm sure you've seen on my InstaStory!).

Lastly, I ended this first day on the best way possible: attending the Lulu's Style Studio influencers party. Between good music, fashion sketches, fun goodies, an open bar and cool giveaways I had such an amazing night and met some fantastic fellow bloggers!

St Barth Travel Diary

Last month as my birthday gift I went on a 5 days getaway to Saint Barth, one of my favorite island in the Caribbeans. Among white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, luxury shopping, fine dining and breathtaking views I had a truly amazing time and here I am, finally sharing everything with you!

We stayed at Le Village, a cute little hotel in Saint Jean, just a few steps away from the Nikki Beach, one of my favorite places to spend a day under the sun with good music playing on the background and great food and drinks.

We rented a convertible mini Cooper and had the best time driving around with the top down! The island is so small you can never get lost and driving around is really easy. However walking is not an option as there are many hills and the day it's way too hot to enjoy walking anywhere.

The pool area of the hotel was so charming, and the view was unbeatable!

One of my favorite things about this hotel is the bookshelves filled with books int he reception area and breakfast lounge: you can borrow them during your stay and even take them home with you if you're not finished reading them! There are books in English, French, German, Spanish and tons of other languages and you'll find all kinds of books from novels to poetry to manuals. Also the breakfast buffet was a delight. It changed every morning and had many different kinds of juice, pastries, fruits, etc. Our room at the hotel was very clean and modern. A lot of closet space was available and I of course took advantage of it right away!

There are so many wonderful beaches on the island that it's hard to pick one in the morning, when planning the day! We already knew some of them so we decided to go ahead and discover new ones: the first day we went to the Grand Cul de Sac beach. We had the beach basically to ourselves and had a picnic there with some food we bought at the grocer on our way there. It was so peaceful and

After a long day of sun, sea and tanning (exhausting I know!) our favorite thing to do was to go to Gustavia where the harbor is and walk by the water and pick a different restaurant to enjoy every night.

Mango and strawberry frozen smoothies by the water, so good and refreshing!

In Gustavia you can also find the best luxury shops like Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Cartir, Bulgari and many other local store that sell designer sunglasses and brand name watches. The island is a tax free haven so get ready to score some great deals! I didn't think twice when I saw the bracelet I wanted for so long at the Hermès boutique. Happy birthday to me!

And here's the reveal of the content of that little orange bag of happiness :D

The island is so small and picturesque, around every corner you might find amazing views and stunning scenery. On our second day we were headed to Anse des Flamands, an endless white sand beach with crystal clear water, and on our way there we stumbled upon this spot. So insanely perfect for pictures.

This is the view you have when you arrive at Anse des Flamands. Basically happiness in a picture.

OMG please take me back!!

After the beach we were all starving so we headed back to Gustavia to go have a yummy lunch at L'Isoletta, our favorite Italian restaurant. I got the Grapefruit and Orange salad and a slice of pizza on the terrace. Seriously, #lunchgoals.

On the following day, we ventured to Anse de Colombier, a secluded beach you can only reach by boat or by a 15/20 minutes hike. This beach is famous for being the private beach of American businessman Rockerfeller, who at his time bought a huge mansion overlooking the bay. The hike isn't that bad and on the way down we found some great picture spots, totally postcard-worthy. Plus, the beach is really beautiful.

When you finally reach the bay, the view doesn't disappoint.

My only complaint about beaches in Saint Barth is that there is hardly any shade: the sun is really strong, especially in the middle of the day and after 3 straight days of laying on the beach all day long I felt like my skin was begging me for a break. So my advice is to start your day pretty early so you can leave the beach at noon when the sun starts becoming too strong, of course apply sunscreen extremely often and if you can, find a spot to lay your beach towels next to some trees or big rocks where you'll eventually have some kind of shade. That's how I survived and avoided an awful sunburn!

Cold shoulders, warm hearts

I fell in love with this Zara blouse at first sight. From the cold shoulders to the ruffles, to the light pastel color, so perfect for summer. I admit I have been wearing it a little too often but I tend to obsess over my favorite pieces of clothing! I snapped these pictures the other day before a lunch date by the water with my brother :) I feel so lucky to be able to live on this beautiful island!

Shirt: Zara (it's sold out online but this one is almost identical and way cheaper!) - Shorts: Forever21 - Espadrilles: Chanel - Bag: Luana Italy (you can use the code SHOPWEARREPEAT for 15% off anything on the Luana Italy website)

Bracelet: Dior - Bangle: Hermès - Ring: YSL - Phone case: Richmond & Finch

Best summer ever!

June is here which means summer has officially started! Forget all those grey winter days and the rainy spring time, from now on it's all about sunshine, friends, cool trips and lots of fun :D
And in the spirit of that I rounded up a list of essentials you are going to need if you want this to be the BEST. SUMMER. EVER.

FASHION

- Straw hat: a summer staple that will never go out of style. There are tons of options from very inexpensive ones (just try at H&M or Forever 21) to designer versions or even customized ones. Not only a great fashion accessory but it will also prove extremely useful to prevent a face burn ;)

- A "feel good" bikini: I'm not saying it's going to be easy to find. We are all beautiful in our own ways but there are always specific items that make us feel even better about ourselves. That's what I mean when I talk about a "feel good" swimsuit. It doesn't really need to be a bikini, if you love one pieces, just go for it! But find a piece that will be your holy grail all summer long!

Book - Sunglasses

- Sundress: and I don't mean just one. You'll need a whole bunch of sundresses this summer because DUH. White lace, off-the-shoulders, bright floral prints, super long, the possibilities are endless!

- Sandals and espadrilles: when you're not going to wear flip flops you'll need cute but still comfy alternatives and lace up sandals (even better if adorned with colorful pom poms and charms) and espadrilles will be your new best friends!

ACCESSORIES

- Metallic flash tattoos and a bright nailpolish: because these are the only accessories worth of wearing on the beach really. I have seen too many of my friends lose valuable jewelry in the sea so I refuse to wear any type of accessory that I could possibly lose. Plus bracelets and necklaces would leave ugly and very annoying tan lines! I prefer to stick to colorful nailpolish shades and metallic flash tattoos to spice up my beach looks!

- Books and magazines: between a jump in the water, a nap under the sun umbrella while sipping on a refreshing and yummy drink you are going to want (actually NEED) some distractions! I love taking books and magazines (my faves are Cosmo, Vogue and Glamour) with me to the beach and calmly go through them. In fact I rarely have the time to do sit down and enjoy a book or a magazine in my hectic everyday life, so I really treasure those precious quiet moments.

- Sunglasses: forget your expensive designer sunglasses at home and just bring a few very cheap sunnies with you. Chances are some are going to get ruined because of the salt water, other you'll forget in hotel rooms or planes and you also might sit on some. So better safe than sorry when it comes to packing sunglasses for a summer trip!

- The perfect beach tote and a super cute beach towel: this one goes without saying. There are so many inexpensive options for sun beach totes and towels! Every summer I buy a new beach towel (yes I have quite a collection now) and a alos have a plethora of beach bags to choose from! Canvas, plastic, cotton, colorful, all white, printed, you can never go wrong with any of these basically.

- Mini crossbody bag for long summer nights: perfect to throw in your phone, wallet, lipstick and keys and make sure your hands are free to dance, eat and have all the fun you should be having.

BEAUTY

- Lip balm (even better if it has with SPF): we never really think about it but our lips tan too and it's imperative that we don't forget to moisturize them after spending a whole day in the sun.

- Sunscreen!!!: Do not only bring it on vacation with you, but apply it every day, multiple times a day! I know that we all want to get to a beautiful bronze tan as fast as possible but not applying sunscreen especially on the first days of sun exposure is the worst idea you can possibly have.

- On-the-go makeup pouch: a bright lip color to put on right before a fun photoshoot with your friends, waterproof mascara, a rollerball of your favorite perfume to make sure you always smell fantastic, a compact mirror and a few makeup wipes just in case.

- Body lotion: because after all those hours in the sun your skin will have an extreme need of hydration. Choose aloe vera or even an oil to restore your skin's smoothness and softness and get it ready for another magical day in the sun!

RANDOM

- A cool passport holder and luggage tag: you can go crazy with these! Accessorizing your travel essentials says "I'm so used to jet setting around that I have to have personalized items". It's the details that make the difference believe me.

- Headphones and a portable speaker: when travelling my headphones are my best friends. Not only the reduce the outside noise (in a plane or if there's a screaming baby in your train) but you'll need some kind of distraction during all those hours spent in a moving vehicle. Music, movies, tv shows, podcasts, anything you'll want to listen to starts with your headphones! And of course what's cooler than a portable speaker (even better if waterproof!) when you're laying on the beach or by a lake with all of your friends? I can't think of anything really :P

- Polaroid Camera: taking pictures with you phone is perfectly fine but there is something so much more special about having an actual printed Polaroid picture that immortalizes the most magical moments of the summer.

Donut pool float (also love this chocolate one)

- One-of-a-kind inflatable floatie: these are all over Instagram and if you've always wanted one but never actually got one, this is the perfect time! You'll have a whole 3 months to use it and not only they're super comfortable to just lay in while at the beach but they look beyond amazing in pictures! ;)

- Fruits and water: because during summer all of the yummiest fruits are in season! Either cut a bunch of different fruits into small pieces and put the in a tupperware to bring with you or make delicious smoothies. Of course don't forget to drink tons of water to stay hydrated throughout the day!

I hope this article was helpful and put you on a summer vacation mood! I also created a fun checklist so that you can just save the picture and pull it up on your phone whenever you are packing!

You are loved

Oh New York, how I love you! From your busy streets to your wonderful parks, every single corner of this city is filled with love and excitement and surprises. Every time I'm here I fall in love with you a little more.

Blue Orchid

I've walked by this building hundreds of times and took pictures of it almost every time. I always thought it was a beautiful church since it even has a beautifully taken care of garden with gorgeous blooms and many very picturesque tables and benches and of course a fountain. That was until I actually stopped by and inquired. You'll never guess what this is: it's one of the numerous branches of the New York Public Library! Isn't this amazing? It made me appreciate this stunning building even more. No matter how well I think I know you, New York, you'll never stop surprising me!

Little Italy

Every time I'm in the city I cannot help but testing as many restaurants as I possibly can. Today between a bloggers meeting in Little Italy and a showroom appointment in Times Square I have been running around Manhattan like a crazy person! Comfort was key when deciding what to wear: I opted for this laid back but still somewhat elegant romper and comfy espadrilles. Add a lace bralette and a super trendy choker and you've got yourself an insanely stylish yet extremely practical everyday outfit.

Romper: Nordstrom Rack - Espadrilles: Valentino - Bag: Chanel - Sunglasses: Céline

I met up with my babe Yana and a fellow blogger Dikla for lunch at Seamore's. We tried the fried fish tacos and the vegan tacos (with broccoli and a tofu sauce) and an order of Poke (raw fish, peanuts and avocado) to share. I had been wanting to try out this restaurant for the longest time. Its adorable outdoor seating area and incredible online reviews giving always made me want to go ahead and try it and I'm so happy I finally did! Everything was really good and now I want to come back and try some more things from their menu.

After our tacos we walked around little italy and soho and finally stopped by Gorgetown Cupcakes for dessert. We got their Black and White cupcakes which are chocolate cupcakes with vanilla frosting. To be honest, these are my ultimate guilty pleasure! So incredibly soft and flavorful!

It's with a full stomach that I then headed uptown to the Theater District to go visit the Modern Vice showroom.

Modern Vice is a really cool handcrafted footwear and accessory brand that imports all of the leather and hardware directly from Italy and produces shoes in house in New York City. I had the pleasure to tour their showroom and production space (I took you guys along with me on Snapchat by the way! If you don't follow me yet go ahead, my username is "sarahgallazzi") and even got to choose a couple of pairs of super cool boots! They will be handmade and will probably be ready in a couple of weeks: I am so excited to receive them and show them to you!

Shoes galore at Modern Vice.
